Pastor Christopher C. Moore is a native of San Augustine, TX and serves as only the 4th Senior Pastor in the over 100-year old history of The Evolution Church, formally known as the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Pastor Moore graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Austin College in Sherman, TX. After returning to his hometown to teach and coach, he enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary. There he received a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education. He accepted his call into the gospel ministry in August 2006 under Rev. George Cartwright of the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, who ordained him in July 2011.

He has served as Youth Pastor of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, under the leadership of the President Emeritus of the BM&E State Convention of Texas, Dr. Stephen C. Nash, Sr. In 2017, Pastor Moore received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Saint Thomas Christian University of Jacksonville, FL. In 2018, he released his first book, entitled, "You Can Begin Again: Rebuilding When Life Has Torn You Down".

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and his powerful preaching and teaching, membership continues to grow spiritually and numerically.

Under his leadership, the Intercessory Prayer, Health and Wellness, Grief, EMERGE (Young Adults) and ROCS (Reaching Out To College Students) Ministries were organized.

All in all, his most cherished gift outside of being a disciple of the Lord is the gift of being the husband of Mrs. Faith Coker-Moore and the Father of Paityn. Together and with the help of God, their lifelong mission is to introduce Christ to those that don't know Him and enhance the lives of those that do know Him.
